Drilling GLASS

Drilling through our solid deep-pour resin ‘TRISKULLS’ led us right into the realm of drilling though THICK GLASS! Check it out.

This pack of diamond hole cutters (15 different sizes) is a WISE investment. $10 shipped on EBay!
Find center and define a starter groove.
Keep the hole LUBED with small amounts of water. 💦
Slow & steady with a small pool of water. When the water lube turns ‘milky opaque’, stop and wipe it away, add more water and resume cutting.
Apply light pressure and let the weight of the drill slowly cut right through in small increments. Take breaks to wipe away excess wet glass particulate with damp towel. DO NOT ‘press’ the bit into glass. Patients is the key here.
